Aston Magna — America's longest-running festival of music on period instruments, now in its 53rd season — comes to The Allen Center in West Newton with Seeking an Other: Music from Less Expected Voices, from Less Expected Places — music from South America, Scotland, China, and more, led by guest director Julia Glenn. Performers: Julia Glenn and Daniel Stepner, baroque violins; Nathaniel Cox, theorbo and guitar; Andrew Koutroubas, baroque cello; Andrus Madsen, harpsichord. Thursday, July 30 at 7:00 PM.
