2. License denied. The Newton Board of License Commissioners voted last night to reject an application from Star Market to sell beer & wine. Read more details in our story here. 

3. Make your own pizza. Whole Foods Newtonville will host another vacation week program today where kids can make their own pizza. The free event will take place from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. 

4. Parents Helping Parents. Feeling overwhelmed with the stresses of parenting? Meeting with your fellow parents may help. A free, anonymous support group will meet tonight at 6 p.m. along with a trained facilitator. 5. New breakfast offering. According to Patch reporter Wendy Schapiro, Christina's European Cafe Bistro in Newton Highlands is now offering breakfast. Christina's confirmed this via Facebook yesterday.
