1. Public Facilities, Programs & Services committees. The Public Facilities and Programs & Services committees will meet tonight at 7:45 p.m. in City Hall rooms 209 and 222, respectively. To view the agendas for tonight's meetings, check out the .pdfs to the right.
2. License denied. The Newton Board of License Commissioners voted last night to reject an application from Star Market to sell beer & wine. Read more details in our story here.
3. Make your own pizza. Whole Foods Newtonville will host another vacation week program today where kids can make their own pizza. The free event will take place from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

4. Parents Helping Parents. Feeling overwhelmed with the stresses of parenting? Meeting with your fellow parents may help. A free, anonymous support group will meet tonight at 6 p.m. along with a trained facilitator. The meeting will take place at the Brigham House in Newton Highlands (20 Hartford St.) For more information, call Meg at 617-926-5008 ext. 102. Child care provided.
5. New breakfast offering. According to Patch reporter Wendy Schapiro, Christina's European Cafe Bistro in Newton Highlands is now offering breakfast. Christina's confirmed this via Facebook yesterday.
