1. School Committee budget meeting. The School Committee will hold a special budget meeting this afternoon at the . The meeting will start at 4 p.m.

2. Basketball season comes to an end. After an impressive season, the boys' basketball team fell to Brockton last night in the South Div. 1 semi-finals. The final score was 49-44. Way to go on a fantastic season, boys. Go Tigers!

3. Art exhibit at L'Aroma. in West Newton has a new art exhibit up! A number of local artists have their work on display now through April 29 in an exhibit titled "Shared Benefits." The artists will have a meet-and-greet on Sun., April 22.

4. Today is International Women's Day. And as part of the celebration of International Women's Day, the will host award-winning filmmaker Liane Brandon today for a screening of her short films Anything You Want To Be and Betty Tells Her Story. The event starts at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
