Life After Inna's Kitchen and Mick Morgans: Newton Food News
Inna's Kitchen has a suitor, Mick Morgans is closed and Olivia's Bistro may be moving to Adams Street. Plus a bar at LifeTime Fitness.

NEWTON, MA- Curious what new restaurants are coming to town? There are a number ones who've recently filed for permitting in the city, including someone who looks set to take over Inna's, a name change for Mick Morgans and the old Ginger Root restaurant on Adam's Street.
For those wondering what will happen to the former Inna's Kitchen on Pelham Street in Newton Center, it looks like Ellana is moving in. Miguel Contessi filed for a permit to manage "Ellana's Kitchen" in the space formerly occupied by Inna's earlier this month.

According to his application Contessi hopes to be open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., just like Inna's. There will be 12 seats. It's still early days, however, and there is no website or Facebook page just yet on it.

Mick Morgans on Needham Street is turning into Grand Kitchen + Bar. Mick Morgans is is temporarily closed while the restaurant undergoes a name change and makeover. The new manager is slated to be Tricia Medas-Power but the owners appear to be the same. The hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. There will be 99 seats.
It looks like something called Olivia's Bistro is going to move into 136 Adams Street
Roche Inc. doing business as Oliviaâs Bistro filed on April 17 for a permit. The manager will be Brian OâToole. The hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday from 11a.m. to 1 a.m. There will be 58 seats with an occupancy of 64.
Oh and did we mention that when LifeTime Fitness opens at 300 Boylston Street, they're hoping to open with a full bar and restaurant in there, too? They're petitioning for a total of 124 seats in LifeCafe Restaurant with 36 of those seats in the bar. The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. LifeTime Fitness is slated to open this July, according to its website.
