MLK Day In Newton A Look At How It Went

Despite the cold, dozens of people showed up.

NEWTON, MA — Although single digit temperatures and icy day kept some away, it wasn't enough to put a cloud on the 51s Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Newton Community Celebration.

Plenty of people came out to honor and remember the life and legacy of King with Mayor Ruthanne Fuller, the Newton Humans Rights Commission and Families Organized Racial for Justice at the First Baptist Church in Newton, Monday.
