Moon Shadow is the Friendliest Cat Around!
Each week the Gifford Cat Shelter features one of their resident cats ready for adoption.
“Oh you will be followed by a Moon Shadow, Moon Shadow, Moon Shadow!!” Yes this sweet handsome 4 year-old boy is truly a cat that Cat Stephens—or anyone!--would sing about! Moon Shadow is the friendliest cat around! He loves attention, is very mellow, and he’s always excited to see visitors because it means he'll get lots of snuggles. Moon Shadow even gives hugs!
Moon Shadow is FIV+, which is a low maintenance, non-serious condition that won't affect his quality of life. He gets along well with his roommate Butch, so we think he'd be just fine with another FIV cat (maybe Butch, who is also a sweetie??!!) or with other animals.

It was the first cageless, no-kill shelter in the country and has been in existence since 1884.
