Mysterious Object Found in Newton Upper Falls: Report

NEWTON, MA – An eagle-eyed Newton resident recently found what looks like a piece of metal with some kind of carving on it.

According to local blog Village14, which first reported the sighting, the object was found near Hemlock Gorge in Upper Falls. Resident Larry Westrate picked it up on the hillside by Echo Bridge, near the foundation of an old fireplace.

Westrate's daughter-in-law told Village14 she believes it was used for printing (so that likely rules out a UFO, bummer).
