Newly Renovated West Suburban YMCA Opens

The new and expanded space was unveiled at a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday.

NEWTON, MA – The West Suburban YMCA in Newton officially opened Monday after undergoing a multitude of renovations beginning over the summer.

The occasion was marked by a ribbon cutting ceremony, attended by Mayor Setti Warren, West Suburban YMCA President and CEO Jack Fucci and community leaders.

Improvements include a new Wellness office, seating area, cardio area, group exercise room and bathrooms, as well as an expanded "Kids Corner," early education preschool and equipment options.
