Newton 9-Year-Old Signs With Harvard Football

On Thursday, the Crimson announced the signing of Daniel Grapski, who Coach Tim Murphy called "tough and resilient."

NEWTON, MA – "We're looking for smart, athletic kids with great character, and this young man is certainly all of that."

Coach Tim Murphy had high praise for Daniel Grapski at the 9-year-old's signing day with the Harvard football team. Daniel signed with the Crimson earlier this season through Team IMPACT, an organization that connects kids fighting cancer to local college athletic programs.

Though Daniel was a little shy in front of the team, he's confident in the outcome of the season.

"I signed with the Harvard football team," he said, beaming. "We're gonna win."
