Newton Cop Log: DUI Crash, Shopper Steals 5 Lobster Rolls, Fugitive Arrested
The following are excerpts from the Newton police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Thur., Oct. 2
- Dennis Ntagozera, 22, of Ashland, was arrested after he was clocked going 40 mph in a 25 mph zone on Grove Street and police found he had a suspended license.
- Staff at Star Market on Boylston Street said a man stole five lobster rolls without paying. He was described as a white man of medium build driving a white Chevrolet box van.
Fri., Oct. 3
- Kenneth Leslie, 25, of Chelsea, was charged with driving with a suspended license-subsequent offense after police said they found him driving a 2003 Infinity G35 with no registration on Boylston Street.
- Stacy Smith, 34, of Chelsea, was arrested on a warrant at Todyâs service station.
- A woman said her wallet was stolen from the Equinox gym. The wallet had four credit cards, an insurance card, Charlie card, and passport.

- Robert Bernasconi, 29, of Watertown, was charged with OUI, reckless driving, and a lane violation. Police said he was driving a red Saab on Tremont Street and crashed. Police said when interviewed, he was unsteady on his feet and smelled of liquor.
