Newton Dems Open Registration for Visibility on Primary Day

Team Kennedy is coordinating volunteers to increase awareness and turnout for the September election.

NEWTON, MA – Newton Dems are launching a coordinated effort to increase awareness and voter turnout for this year's state Primary Elections.

The Sep. 8 election falls on a Thursday this year instead of a Tuesday, which Newton Dems say could be confusing for some voters.

So the organization is joining Team Kennedy to mobilize volunteers in support of the Democratic candidates running for state office and ensure voters don't forget to submit their ballots.
