Newton To Host Gath Pool Community Listening Session
The meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m.
NEWTON, MA — The Newton Parks, Recreation and Culture and Public Building Departments will host a virtual Gath Pool Community Listening Session on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m.
The meeting will give residents an opportunity to weigh in ahead of the pool's upcoming replacement and make the final plans a community effort.
"We know we will be replacing the pool (it’s leaky and old) while creating a welcoming and fun environment for everyone," said a news release from Mayor Ruthanne Fuller's office. "But beyond that we will arrive at the meeting with open minds and ears."
