The speakers touched on the different ways Massachusetts communities have successfully utilized energy efficiency to increase productivity and further economic growth, modernize an aging energy system and improve functionality during extreme weather conditions.

Attendees also viewed a demonstration of the EcoThermal Filter System by EcoThermal President and CEO Darcy McMenamin; the system, which has been implemented at the Stockyard, integrates traditional grease filters with a heat recovery system to capture waste heat from the cook line and recycle it to preheat water.
