Newton North QB, Receiver Named Patch 'Players of the Week'
Veteran high school sports reporter Bob Holmes highlighted the John Grady to Bryce Adam passing combination during Week 5.

NEWTON, MA – Five weeks into the football season, two Newton players have been highlighted as standouts on the field.
Veteran high school sports guru Bob Holmes dropped his list of Patch Players of the Week for Week 5 Monday, and Newton's John Grady and Bryce Adam made the cut.

John Grady and Bryce Adam, Newton North — The Grady to Adam passing combination combined for four touchdowns, including two in the fourth quarter to lead the Tigers past Braintree in a wild affair, 36-33. The two teams combined for 36 points in the fourth quarter with Grady hitting Adam for both Newton North scores, including the game winner. Newton North moved to 4-1 and remains second in the Division 1 South power ratings.
