Newton Police Find Missing Parakeet

Newton, MA – Newton Police are looking for the owner of a parakeet found Tuesday.

Apparently taking a cue from its four-legged friends, the bird found itself out and about in Newton near the city's border with Brookline.

According to Newton Police, the parakeet was picked up on Florence Street. To claim the bird, call Newton Animal Control at 617-796-2109.
