Newton Police: Four Teens Nabbed for Alcohol Possession
The following was supplied by the Newton Police Department.

Incidents, May 28
- A resident came into the station to file a report of past larceny. She said on May 7 she left her Newton trash barrel outside for a pickup at approximately 7 a.m. When she returned that evening, it was gone.
- While working alcohol enforcement, police spotted a grey BMW SUV enter the parking lost at M&D Liquors on Beacon Street. Police spotted four males in the vehicle who appeared to be under 21. Police then saw the driver, later identified, get out of the car and enter Murray’s Liquors. He then exited the store carrying a 12 pack of Corona and a 12 pack of Sierra Nevada beer. He was advised that complaints would be sought against him for possessing a false ID and being a minor in poses session. The three other males were advised that complaints would be sought against them for being minors in possession. Three males were 18 and from Newton. A fourth, 18, was from Watertown.
