Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in fashion education, The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. NEWTON, MA — Newton Police took to Facebook Thursday asking for the public's help in identifying a man who ran away from police officers after a confrontation about shoplifting at the Walnut Street Whole Foods.

If you have any information on the identity of this individual please contact the NPD Detective Bureau at 617-796-2104Police did not say what day the alleged shoplifting incident happened, but there was a larceny reported at that Whole Foods on December 7.
