Newton Police: Several Reports of Vandalism and Car Breaks
The following are excerpts from the Newton Police Log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On Friday, May 1, police responded to 55 Boylston St. at the Showecase Superlux for a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle. The owner said her car had been vandalized int he lot sometime between April 23 and April 30.
On Friday, May 1, a person called headquarters to report vandalism to her car. She said she parked it across from Oakland Street and it was keyed on two separate days (April 16 and 21). It’s a 2010 Honda Civic, grey, and has damage to the passenger side.
On May 2, police responded to Howard Street for a past B&E to a motor vehicle. The unlocked vehicle, parked in the driveway, was broken into and someone took a small bucket of change. She thinks her dog may have barked during the night and scared the subject away.

On May 3, police took a report for a B&E into a vehicle. When police got there, the owner said that sometime during the night someone had entered the car, which was unlocked and parked in the driveway. The vehicles were rummaged through and there was about $7 worth of change taken.
