Newton Police Warning Residents Of Car Break-Ins
The city has experienced 16 car break-ins since Wednesday, Nov. 10.

NEWTON, MA â The Newton Police Department is urging residents to lock their car doors due to an increase in motor vehicle break-ins over the last week.
Since Wednesday Nov. 10, 16 motor vehicles have been broken into in the Newton Corner and Chestnut Hill area, said police. Each one of the cars were left unlocked.
"We want to remind you to make sure your car is locked at all times, remove all valuables and never keep a spare key inside the vehicle!" said police in a Facebook post.
