Newton Police: Woman Steals 15 Burberry Shirts; Man Steals 2 iPhones

Monday, May 4, police responded to 225 Boylston St. (Bloomingdales) for a report of shoplifting. The person said he saw a white female conceal 15 men’s Burberry T-shirts. Security took photos of all the merchandise. The woman was identified and charges were sought for shoplifting in Newton District Court. The woman is a 32-year-old from Vermont.

On May 4, police responded to a report of larceny at the AT&T store. A man stole two iPhones off the wall and ran from the store. He is described as a black male, dark baseball hat, light, long sleeved shirt, black pants, approximately 6’1” tall, athletic build, early 20s. The reporting party said he fled on foot toward the Chestnut Hill Train Station.
