ASA Hoops is a “teach first” program; we value the instruction process as much as the result. Our teaching approach creates highly disciplined players who can apply strategy, purpose, and forethought in real time on the basketball court. As educators, ASA feels strongly our core values are important traits in developing young people into successful adults. Now in our seventeenth year, A Step Ahead Inc. (ASA Hoops) has become a year-round operation offering clinics, classes, camps and AAU. In 2015, had over 5,000 participants have entered our programs. This up-coming year will be our biggest yet, with over 45 camps scheduled and the expansion of our AAU program ASA Hoops will be one of the biggest basketball operations in New England. Participants, boys and girls, range in age from 7-18 and have come from countries as far away as Japan, China, Mexico, Italy, Israel and Spain as well as from cities all over New England.
