Children
in grades 3-8 can enjoy the great outdoors and learn rock climbing and outdoor
survival skills at a week-long climbing camp at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish
Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Led by certified and trained
staff, the camp is offered July 7-11 from 9am-4pm. Beginner to
intermediate climbers will visit popular rock climbing destinations in
Massachusetts such as Hammond Pond, Purgatory Chasm, College Rock, Den Rock,
Quincy Quarries and Lincoln Woods. Cost for the week is $650. The camp will
also be held August 11-15. Early drop-off and extended day options available. Open to the entire
