• Navigating artificial intelligence in school and at home (nbcboston.com) — Newton Public Schools are reworking their rules for student use of AI, aiming to balance academic integrity with preparing kids for an AI-driven world. Superintendent Anna Nolin and Newton South students describe shifting expectations, from clearer classroom boundaries to more in-class writing, while nearby Cambridge pursues similar guardrails.
   

• New ASU Prep campuses, new partners and new paths to college open across the country this fall (asu.edu) — Felix Commonwealth Virtual School has opened a new in-person hub at Lasell University in Newton, creating the state's first public virtual school based on a college campus. About 60 Massachusetts students now combine online coursework with on-campus support and resources, with plans to expand enrollment in coming years.
   

• Newton man dead in NH head-on crash (boston.com) — A 46-year-old man from Newton was killed Monday in a head-on collision on Route 16 in Tamworth, New Hampshire, when another vehicle crossed into the southbound lane. Police are still investigating and are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact New Hampshire State Police.
