Grossman, who is running for Ward 7 councilor-at-large, will officially kick off her campaign at an event Sunday.

NEWTON, MA – Rebecca "Becky" Walker Grossman will kick off her campaign for Newton's Ward 7 councilor-at-large this weekend. Walker Grossman will host a campaign launch event Sunday, March 26 at 4:30 p.m. at the Woman's Club.
The event was rescheduled from Feb. 12 due to a winter storm.
Walker Grossman announced her candidacy for one of two Ward 7 at-large seats in December. Incumbent Ward 7 Councilor-at-large Ruthanne Fuller will not seek re-election as she will run for mayor. Walker Grossman became an assistant district attorney in Middlesex County after graduating from Harvard Law School. She is the daughter-in-law of former Democratic National Committee Chairman Steve Grossman and worked on his 2010 campaign for state treasurer.
