Route 9 Traffic Alert: Watermain Break In Newton

NEWTON, MA — There's a watermain break slowing traffic in the area of Route 9 and Woodcliff Road.

The mayor's office sent out an alert this afternoon warning that it could take more than a few hours for the repair work. In the mean time, traffic is down to one lane on Route 9 East between Walnut Street and Woodcliff Road. Police are directing traffic, according to the city. At least there's water nearby?
