WATCH: Newton Mayor at the Democratic National Convention

Mayor Setti Warren checked in from Philadelphia Tuesday with Lawrence Mayor Dan Riviera and New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell.

NEWTON, MA – Newton Mayor Setti Warren broadcasted live from the Democratic National Convention on Facebook Tuesday morning with his fellow "Mass Mayors" Dan Riviera or Lawrence and Jon Mitchell of New Bedford.

The three reflected on the first day of the convention, with special praise for first lady Michelle Obama's speech.

"Michelle Obama last night - unbelievable," Warren said. "I mean, just, electricity. I think she gave one of the greatest convention speeches in history."

They agreed that it shifted the tone of the entire day, with Mitchell calling it "heartfelt and articulate."

"I think people are going to be plagiarizing it for years," Mitchell joked.
