William James College Hosts Opioid Forum on April 5

The forum featured remarks from Governor Charlie Baker as well as regional and national experts on this issue

William James College, a graduate school of psychology based in Newton, MA hosted a forum on April 5 addressing the opioid crisis currently plaguing Massachusetts, as well as the rest of the nation. The forum featured recommendations for ameliorating the opioid crisis, as well as a conversation about prevention methods.

Nicholas Covino, President of William James College appreciated the support of the speakers, panelists, and attendees who came to the forum.

Governor Baker offered remarks about the importance of tackling the opioid crisis.

“Governor Baker deserves credit for keeping this issue in the public eye and advancing policies to tackle it,” Covino said.
