• King Philip High School names Dr. Matthew Maré Assistant Principal (norfolkwrenthamnews.com) — Families in Norfolk whose teens attend King Philip Regional High School will see new leadership support this year as Dr. Matthew Maré steps in as assistant principal. With extensive experience in middle school administration and social studies teaching, he'll work alongside existing assistant principals to support students and staff across the regional high school community. 
• Norfolk firefighter graduates from Massachusetts Firefighting Academy (norfolkwrenthamnews.com) — A Norfolk firefighter, Eric Eszlari, has just completed the state's intensive 50-day Career Recruit Firefighting Training Program, earning Firefighter I/II and HazMat First Responder certifications. His graduation from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy means Norfolk gains a newly trained responder with up-to-date skills in fire attack, rescue, and hazardous materials response.
