• Amherst Recreation Commission: Town should renew efforts for pickleball complex (gazettenet.com) — Plans for more pickleball courts in North Amherst are back in play, as Amherst Recreation Commission members urge the town to revive a dedicated pickleball complex and consider restriping another Mill River tennis court. Officials are weighing Community Preservation Act funding, possible use of the closed Wildwood School gym, and alternative sites after earlier proposals at Groff Park and Kiwanis Field stalled over cost and neighborhood concerns.
