Athlete of the Week: Caroline Gust

Caroline Gust never missed a swimming lesson, and her dedication paid off.

This soon-to-be fourth grader is a soccer and basketball enthusiast, but she is in the news today for her ability as a great swimmer.

Caroline won first place in the underwater swimming race at the Steven’s Pond swim meet last week.

This is Caroline’s second year competing in the meet. In addition to her first place finish in the underwater race, Caroline finished first in the backstroke competition for her age group.  

Caroline’s brother Andrew nominated her to be Athlete of the Week here on North Andover Patch.
