Athlete of the Week: Tito Lluberes
Fleet-of-foot shortstop tears it up for the North Andover Titans.
19 year-old Tito Lluberes grew up playing ball with his father in New York City. Lluberes has been playing ball since he was two, and first joined the junior Titans when he was 13.
"I grew up watching Derek Jeter make spectacular plays on the field," said Lluberes.
Now, Lluberes is the one making plays for North Andover and for Saint Anselm College during the school year. Coach Mike Valentino, whose coached Lluberes since that first year with the Titans can't say enough about the young short stop.

"He comes to the field and plays hard, every day. I wish I had ten kids like Tito," said Valentino, "He's got a good future ahead of him."
The next game for the North Andover Titans, part of the North Shore Baseball League, will be Tuesday July 5th against Peabody at Walsh Field at . The first pitch will be at 6pm.
