Christian Education at First United Methodist Church

Classes available for children, youth, and adults

Christian Education classes at First United Methodist Church start this Sunday, September 14. Classes for children and youth meet on Sunday mornings during the school year from 9:15 to 10:15 am at the church, 57 Peters Street (Rt. 133).

Children in preschool to 5th grade will be learning the Bible lessons through a different medium each week, including art, storytelling, games, and cooking. Youth in grades 6-12 will meet to discuss the Bible and how it relates to their lives in contemporary society. They will also help occasionally with the younger classes.

An adult class meets every Sunday morning at 9:15 am for coffee, tea, and book discussion. The class is currently reading the book, Who Needs God, by Rabbi Harold Kushner. New class members are invited to join at any time. Borrow the book from the library or purchase your own copy and come join in the reflection, discussion, and fellowship.
