Cub Scout Sign-Ups Occurring Now!

Join a Cub Scout Pack in North Andover now through mid-October.

Cub Scout sign-ups are being held across North Andover now through mid-October.

Cub Scouts is for boys (and their families) who are in first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. Cub Scouting offers opportunities for young people to enjoy special time with their parents, while making friends and having real-life adventures in the community and in the outdoors.

The Cub Scout program is designed to enrich the boys’ lives, and promote character, leadership skills, and mental and physical fitness in a fun atmosphere.

Typical Cub activities include, but are certainly not limited to:

• Outdoor adventures such as hiking and camping
• Craft projects such as building (and testing!) catapults and Pinewood Derby cars
• Overnights to great places such as the Museum of Science and Battleship Cove
• Service projects such as Scouting for Food and marching in Veterans Day and Memorial Day
Parades
• Learning core values such as citizenship, respect, honor, courage, and perseverance

North Andover has three Cub Scout Packs from which to choose:

Pack 82 is chartered by St. Michael’s Church and meets at St. Michael’s Parish. For more information, contact Jeff Keeton at cubmaster@stmichaelpack82.org.

Pack 86 is chartered by the Sargent School PTO and meets at Sargent School Cafeteria. For more information, contact Patty Passariello at passariellop@wseinc.com.

Pack 89 is chartered by the Trinitarian Church and meets at the Franklin School Gym. For more information, contact Bob Goodman at bob@goodman-family.us.
