Domohowski, Ravenelle Nominated for Northeast 10’s Scholar Athlete Awards

Kerri Domohowski of Saugus, from the women’s soccer team and Jon Ravenelle of North Andover, from the men’s tennis team, were nominated for the Northeast-10’s Scholar Athlete Awards from the 2010-11 academic year.

Domohowski graduated with a 3.184 GPA majoring in philosophy and English. She was a three-time Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection and was named to the school’s Dean List each of her eight semesters. On the field, she was a two-time Northeast-10 All-Conference selection and a two-time all-academic honoree.

Ravenelle graduated with a 3.87 GPA majoring in political science and philosophy and earned the highest GPA among Merrimack graduating male student-athletes in 2010-11. He was a four-time Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection and was named to the conference’s all-academic team each of the past two years. Ravenelle was named to the school’s Dean List each of his eight semesters at Merrimack and was named a Presidential Scholar. He served on the school’s presidential search committee and is a member of Merrimack’s student government.

The Northeast-10 is an association of 16 NCAA Division II colleges and universities comprised of 4,500 student-athletes that make the NE-10 the largest Division II conference in the country.
