NORTH ANDOVER, MA: Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center will host “A DOWNTON ABBEY CHRISTMAS” on Saturday evening, December 13, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm. Guests can come and enjoy the fabulous atmosphere in the Georgian Mansion at 660 Great Pond Road. The evening will begin with a reception of hors d’oeuvres and hot cider or coffee, while enjoying the sounds of “Preso! Music” string ensemble. An exquisite buffet dinner will be served in the Lakeside Gallery Dining Room, and a grand prize will be awarded to the best early 20th century attire. This event will benefit the restoration of Tyson Hall in the main house, with hopes of restoring the room to its original grandeur. The cost of this event is $40 per person.
