Sea Change Theatre Company Presents William Shakespeare’s Hamlet

BEVERLY, MA - September 10, 2014 - Sea Change Theatre Company presents William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, the classic tragedy of vengeance, murder & madness. Hamlet will run October 3rd through October 18th in the performance space inside Dane Street Church at 10 Dane Street in Beverly, MA.

On a dark, winter night, a ghost walks the ramparts of a castle. A young Prince devotes himself to avenging his fallen father. A murderer ascends to the throne. A girl in love, jilted and called to spy on her once-lover. Something’s rotten in the state of Denmark in this tale of fate, free will, mortality, and madness. Join Sea Change Theatre for what is often known as William Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy - Hamlet, The Prince of Denmark. Shakespeare’s characters are brought to life by Nate Punches of Peabody, Rick Boomer of Beverly, Tim Waitkevitch of Andover, Tom Rash of Gloucester, Ian Helmick of Salem, Ally Martin Rush of Beverly, Nick Gould of Lynn, Abigail Dickson of Saugus, Matthew Recine of Salem, Sean Crosley of Salem, Kate Duval of Beverly, Tom Ostrowski of Boston, Stephen Turner of Salem, Laura Liberge of Saugus, Staci Skiles Schaum of Beverly, and Emily Sheeran of Wakefield.

Hamlet show dates are Fridays and Saturdays, October 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18. Friday shows’ curtains rise at 8 p.m., and Saturday shows begin at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children, students, and seniors. Tickets may be purchased in advanced online at www.seachangetheatre.com; by phone at 978-500-3885 or email at info@seachangetheatre.com; or day of the performance at the door for $20 for adults and $12 for children/students/seniors.

This two act tragedy runs 150 minutes and is supported in part by a grant from the Beverly Cultural Council, a local agency that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and by Dane Street Church of Beverly.
