North Andover East jumped out to a 7-2 lead but allowed Peabody to tie the game 7-7 in the fourth. North Andover scored the next 11 runs to win the game by putting the mercy rule into effect when hit a two run double in the bottom of the fifth.
North Andover East returns to the field on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. They will play the winner of Peabody vs. Wakefield; that game takes place today.
