It's not too late to sign-up for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Adventure Crews or Sea Scouting
Scouting adventure and leadership programs for boys ages 7 to 21 and girls ages 13 to 21
Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Adventure Crews and Sea Scouts across the area are still inviting families to sign-up for Scouting.
“Recognizing the difficult daily balance parents strive to achieve between spending time with their children and fulfilling their other responsibilities including work, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) strives to help parents make the most of the fleeting time their kids have to be kids while offering life-changing experiences,” said Jonathan Pleva, Interim Scout Executive of Yankee Clipper Council. “The possibilities for opportunities and adventure are endless and entirely attainable even for families who have many demands on their time.”
“Making Scouting part of children’s lives gives them the chance to participate in a wide variety of fun adventures that they may not otherwise experience,” said Sarath Krishnaswamy, Council Membership Vice President. “Kids will catch fish, climb rocks, explore caves, help other people, race cars, camp out, make friends, learn to be self-reliant and to be leaders in their communities.”
