The Actors Company presents award-winning actor J.T. Turner in “Robert Frost Light and Dark” at Wakefield High School, 60 Farm St., Wakefield, May 13, 2015 at 7pm, in a special benefit show for Wakefield High.
This highly-praised original one-man show brings America’s beloved poet to life as he relates the tragedy as well as the humor behind Frost’s work, along with his most popular poems, including Mending Wall, Birches, Nothing Gold Can Stay, Late Walk, Desert Places, Road Not Taken, and Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. For fans of Frost’s work, this is a remarkable and intimate journey through the life of the Pulitzer Prize winning poet. The show, which runs 75 minutes (no intermission), filled the historic Robert Frost Farm in NH to capacity as its season closing event in 2014. Tickets are $20/$10 for students, and can be purchased at the door or reserved by emailing theactorscompany@aol.com .
J.T. Turner is a professional actor, director and writer, with credits on stage, screen and audio. A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity, J.T. is also a historical re-enactor, touring in original shows as Benjamin Franklin, Charles Dickens, Aesop, William Shakespeare and C.S. Lewis. He is the founder and director of moonlight productions inc, a theater company dedicated to using theater as an outreach tool for children and teens, and Artistic Director of The Actors Company, a performing group that works with non-profits. J.T. is also a professional public speaker, fight choreographer, and circus ringmaster.
