North Andover's starter Jack Peterson held it even until the third inning when an errant throw to third kicked off a crooked inning for Andover. Six runs were scored in all, 4 of them unearned.
"A bad inning can mean it all at this level," said Trafton who told his team now facing elimination to stay calm, "If we limit our mistakes, we're competitive with any body."
While on offense, Andover was able to get men on base throughout the game.
"This was the best performance I've seen from them so far," said Coach Christopher Smith, "We had timely hitting, great pitching."
North Andover, now facing elimination, will go on to play the Andover Dodgers at Doherty Field in Andover. The A's will play the N.A. Junior Rays at South Lawrence West Field.
