Lawrence Residents Arrested for Shoplifting at Kohl's

The following are excepts from the log.
Thursday, Aug. 11
- At 1:08 a.m., an officer spotted a previous car break-in on Winthrop Avenue. Someone reportedly threw a rock through a windshield.
- At 7:58 a.m., police arrested Edward A. Driscoll, 35, 71 Bellevue Ave., third floor, Haverhill, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license. The arrest was made at Massachusetts Avenue and Osgood Street.
- At 7:54 a.m., police responded to a call about vandalism at the Franklin School. A bench was damaged.
- At 9:39 a.m., police responded to a call about someone stealing copper wiring from National Grid on Turnpike Street.
- At 10:26 a.m., police received call about a heavy set man about 50 years old taking photos of kids at the high school with a telephoto lens. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate the man.
- At 10:30 a.m., police responded to John Street about two young girls sitting on a stone wall and yelling for help. Police were unable to locate the girls.
- At 1 p.m., a Kara Drive resident called police after a driver hit a mailbox. Police found a bumper on the property.
- At 5:06 p.m., a Boston Street resident reported that someone damaged a mailbox.
Friday, Aug. 12

- At 11:59 a.m., arrested Lauren S. Vallee, 33, 293 Hillside Road, North Andover, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. Police made the arrest after a motor vehicle accident on Peters Street.
- At 1:38 p.m., a Salem Street resident reported a snake in a house. The snake was under the stove. The caller said his father would move the stove when he got home.
- At 6:45 p.m., police responded to Lake Cochichewick about eight people swimming in the lake. An officer spoke to the people and they agreed to leave the area.
- At 8:49 p.m., a Fieldstone Court resident reported an iPod was stolen. Police took a report.
- At 9:08 p.m., a Pleasant Street resident reported a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot. An officer found it was a group of females programming a GPS.
- At 10:58 p.m., police summonsed a North Andover man for assault and malicious destruction of property more than $250. The incident took place at Johnson and Turnpike streets.
Saturday, Aug. 13
- At 9:03 a.m., a Fernview Avenue resident called police after an unknown substance was sprayed on a motorcycle. Police are investigating.
- At 9:39 a.m., a Stonington Street resident called police after a motor vehicle was damaged overnight. Police are investigating.
- At 11:49 a.m., police received a call from someone complaining about a youth rollerblading on Main Street in traffic. Police were unable to locate the person.
- At 12:11 p.m., police received call about seeing a large knife on the sidewalk at Maple Avenue and Stonington Street. Police recovered the knife.
- At 1:57 p.m., a Dudley Street resident reported damage to gutters overnight. Police filed a report.
- At 4:07 p.m., police arrested Maryanne Hoy, 50, 67B Water St., North Andover, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, second offense. Police made the arrest at Andover and Johnson streets.
- At 8:08 p.m., police received a call after someone in a black pickup truck threw fireworks at the man’s daughter. Police checked the area, but did not find the vehicle.
- At 9:57 p.m., police arrested Juan Francisco Delacruz, 23, 24 Williams St., Lawrence; Angelina Reynoso, 32, 24 Williams St., Lawrence; and Andreina Almonte, 20, 338 South Union, Lawrence, and charged them all with shoplifting by concealing merchandise. The arrests were made at Kohl’s.
Sunday, Aug. 14

- At 2:09 a.m., a Union Street resident reported someone emptied her trash barrel and put it on her car. Police filed a report.
- At 3:58 p.m., police responded to Winthrop Avenue about a man asking for money. Police were unable to locate the man.
- At 6:53 p.m., a Third Street resident reported that children found a wallet while playing at Sutton Pond. Police recovered the wallet.
- At 8:07 p.m., an Inglewood Street resident reported a bat in the house. An officer removed the bat.
