LENTEN QUIET DAY at Rolling Ridge

Join retreat leader, and Executive Director, Larry Peacock for this special day retreat on 3/5/15

“So far the crocuses have always come up.” That line on a Sister Coriata Kent poster contains the hope of spring. In this transition season from winter grays to crocus purples, we also move through the darkness of Lent to the golden brilliance of Easter. Come to Rolling Ridge for a day to befriend the journey, to dwell with Lenten metaphors and spring hopes. After a time of meditation and conversation on the themes of the season, prompts will be given for spending the morning in silence. Poetry, mandalas, questions, art projects, and walking the indoor labyrinth will be available in the morning. Lunch and community sharing complete the gentle day.
