Merrimack's Loiseau Earns Two More Preseason All-American Honors

senior football captain Shawn Loiseau of Shrewsbury was named a first-team Preseason All-American by D2 Football and by the Collegiate Development Football League (CDFL).
Loiseau is the only Northeast-10 selection on the first or second team from D2 Football.
One of three captains, the linebacker enters 2011 needing 64 tackles for the all-time school record of 325 tackles in a career.

Merrimack, picked to finish third according to the Northeast-10 Preseason Coaches’ Poll, opens its season on September 3 against WPI at 7 p.m. at Warrior Field.
