Merrimack's Bajor, Fowler, Henry Named All-Region

In its first year of competition, three athletes were named all-region by the USTFCCCA.

Anne Bajor of Methuen earned all-region honors on the women’s side for her efforts in the 3000 meter steeplechase, while Jesse Fowler of Lynn and Josh Henry Westport, Conn. received recognition in the triple jump.

Bajor posted the top two times in the steeplechase for the Warriors, including 11:56.94 at the Husky Invitational and a 12:01.42 performance at the Northeast-10 Championships, which was good enough for fourth place.

Henry, also an all-region selection in the indoor season, captured the triple jump at the George Davis Invitational, jumping 13.91 meters, which was the top score of the season for Merrimack.

Fowler, who also starred in the 100 and 200 meters, recorded a 12.90 meter jump in the Northeast-10 Championship, placing fifth overall.

In all, 1,250 student-athletes received all-region honors, led by the 220 selections from the Northeast-10.
