Accused Killer Still On West Coast, DA Seeks Gov.'s Warrant
Brian Chevalier did not waive rendition at his arraignment in Imperial County Superior Court in California.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The man accused of killing his ex-fiancee in North Andover did not waive rendition at a court appearance Monday in California. The Essex County District Attorney's Office will seek a Governor's warrant so Brian Chevalier can be charged in Massachusetts for the murder of Wendi Davidson.
Chevalier, 51, was arrested Wednesday in Mexico - just over the California border. He was wanted for the murder of Davidson, 49.
Chevalier was arraigned Monday in Imperial County (Calif.) Superior Court on fugitive from justice charges.

The Essex County DA's Office did not have a timeline for when a Governor's warrant would be obtained.
