NAHS Graduates 298 [Photos]
North Andover High School's graduation ceremony brought excitement and emotion.
Hundreds gathered at Friday night to send 298 seniors into the world.
Salutarian Margaret Chen emphasized the NAHS spirit of community and giving and stressed the need to carry that giving nature into the world with them.
"Wherever we go, a piece of us will always carry our North Andover Pride," Chen said.
Julia Cataldo was this year's valedictorian She spoke about students following their passion and shining like the stars, saying every student can bring light to the world.
"You might think your lives are very ordinary, but your gifts and talents shine very brightly, especially today," Cataldo said. "Even in ordinary circumstances, we can prove to be extraordinary individuals."
Principal Carla Scuzzarella mentioned that when she came to North Andover and took over as principal, this year's graduating class was starting their freshman year, and said that has made this graduation all the more special for her.
"I could not be prouder of you than I am now," she said.
