NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover is asking residents to reduce their water usage, as it faces a drought.
Residents are asked to limit outdoor watering and car washing and to not run irrigation systems from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Lake Cochichewick water levels are low and the entire county is under a severe drought, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. The water treatment plant was already having trouble keeping up with demand in June, when the conditions were only "abnormally dry."
