North Andover Coronavirus: SOGO Action 3D Prints Masks
The local STEM and video game studio has 12 3D printers devoted to personal protective equipment.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover's SOGO Action has 3D printed masks for local first responders, health care providers and community members, the town said Wednesday. The town thanked the STEM and video game studio for putting its resources to good use.
The studio has 12 3D printers at its disposal, which are "working around the clock," the town said.
"When used correctly, masks and other PPE (personal protective equipment) can help protect you and those around you from the COVID-19 virus," the town said. "Please read Properly using PPE from the North Andover Health Department for instructions, tips and other information regarding the correct use of PPE."
