NORTH ANDOVER, MA — North Andover has 25 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, as of Tuesday afternoon. That's an increase of 17 from Thursday, March 26, when the town reported eight cases. Public health officials expect the number to continue to increase, as testing increases and community transmission continues.
"The Board of Health continues to do the appropriate follow up with COVID19 positive patients, and to do the appropriate follow up and outreach to residents who have had contacts with positive patients," the town said. "Anyone exhibiting flu-like symptoms should immediately self-quarantine, isolate from household members and contact their health care provider."
Statewide, there were over 6,000 confirmed cases and 89 deaths from the virus, as of Tuesday afternoon.
