North Andover East Falls to Connecticut

Cranston, Rhode Island has not been especially kind to the 9 and 10 year olds of North Andover East.

The Massachusetts dropped their third game of the Eastern Region tournment last night to Connecticut.

The final score from Cranston was 9-3.

North Andover East was clinging to a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning, but fell apart in the fifth to end up losing by six runs.

Defense has been the achilles heel for the squad in this tournament. This comes as a surprise as defense was a key to East's success prior to this tourney.

Advancing in the tournament is now out of reach for the youngsters.
